1969 - C/S introduced Acrovyn, the first vinyl/acrylic wall protection system that was capable of being manufactured in any shape.

2003 - C/S introduced PVC-free Acrovyn 3000, a revolutionary new compound that represented an environmental step forward.

2010 - Today we're in the process of switching our entire wall and door protection line to new Acrovyn 4000 modified polyester alternative. Acrovyn 4000 contains no PBTs, PVC and BPA.

We've reengineered our entire line of Acrovyn Wall Protection and removed all PVC and PBTs (persistent bioaccumulative toxins). New Acrovyn 4000 is manufactured from a modified polyester formula that meets the flame and smoke requirements for a Class 1 fire rating without the use of monomers and other additives. At C/S, our ultimate goal continues to be the development of a completely bio-based product.
